Meet Sarah Casey, PT, DPT
Sarah is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with care focused in both orthopedic and pelvic health. She has spent most of her life in the Northeast Corner of the United States but has also resided in North Carolina and Colorado. Sarah received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from UMass Amherst and earned her doctorate at Campbell University in North Carolina. Sarah is a strength coach and previously owned her own personal training company in the Boston area. She has over 15 years of experience in the wellness and fitness industry.
As a clinician, Sarah has extensive experience working with both orthopedic and pelvic-floor-related issues. She has undergone pelvic health training through clinical education and the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She has multiple certifications geared towards returning individuals to high levels of impact, including fitness and sport. Sarah has a passion for correcting dysfunctions in the spine, pelvis, and/or in the ankles/feet, and a soft spot for all pre and post-partum Mamas.
Sarah started Core Kinetics, PT, DPT, after working years in high-volume outpatient clinics and navigating a health care system that makes it very hard for individuals to receive the care they need and deserve. In her mind, everyone that moves is an athlete and deserves to be treated as so. Sarah’s approach seeks to use her unique clinical skills, extensive continued education in the pelvic floor, and diverse background in fitness to work towards a safe and strong return to “sport” for all clients.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Sarah training with kettlebells, being a foodie for all things ethnic, seeking out great coffee shops, and spending time with her husband, 5 y/o rescue, and two little ones.
WHAT OUR PATIENTS ARE SAYING
-
“I have a long history of back problems and underwent several surgeries, ultimately failing. I tried several times going to PT, but it never helped. I was referred for pain management and was prescribed pain medication for over 13 years.
I started seeing her a year ago initially for pelvic floor exercises but also mentioned my issues with my back. She immediately started me on a regimen of exercises to strengthen my core muscles. She explained everything to me in a very clear, concise manner. It helped me understand physiology and movement to help improve my mobility. A specific exercise program tailored to my strengths and weaknesses provided insight into how to help decrease my pain. Dr. Casey also motivated me to take control of my pain and follow through on the program at home.
Dr. Casey is kind, down to earth, and easy to talk to. I immediately felt at ease and felt confident in her expertise in handling my care. A year later, I am no longer on pain medication, which is a huge accomplishment in itself.
It’s rare to find a doctor who combines such personal touch and care for a patient while providing outstanding quality care. I highly recommend becoming her patient!”

I began working with Dr. Sarah Casey after dealing with chronic shoulder pain that had lasted over a year. I had no luck with other interventions and as a fitness professional and someone who loves movement and strength training, it was extremely disheartening. Thankfully I found Sarah when I did. She's knowledgeable. empathetic, and a very skilled PT.
Sarah came up with a plan to navigate strengthening my shoulder and regaining its range of motion. She was attentive, provided education, and actually left me feeling empowered in my journey. I no longer have shoulder pain and am back to doing the activities I enjoy the most. I am so grateful and cannot recommend Dr. Casey enough. —Mary O’

This allows us to work together without any restrictions from third-party payers to help give you both the best quality of care and work towards reaching your goals more efficiently and faster. Unfortunately, the current insurance-based model makes it very difficult to treat the human in front of us, and at Dr. Sarah Casey PT, DPT, we chose this method to provide the attention and detailed treatment you deserve. You will be treated as a whole versus as a diagnostic code with tailored one-on-one high-end services. Click HERE to view our Insurance Benefits Worksheet
